Corporate Social Responsibility (“CSR”) activities carried out by the Company for FY 2023-24.
1. Brief outline of the CSR Policy of the Company and our Focus areas.
The Company recognizes the importance of Corporate Social Responsibility and is committed to operate
in an economically, socially and environmentally sustainable manner and to work in the areas in order to
meet the norms of corporate governance. The Company always endeavors to conduct its business
responsibly, mindful of its social accountability, respecting applicable laws and regards for human
dignity. As an integral part of our commitment to good corporate citizenship, the Company believes in
actively assisting in improvement of the quality of life of people in communities.
The focus areas of CSR activities are: Health, Education, Upliftment of certain sections, Sports, Rural
Development, Disaster Relief. In addition to the identified areas of focus mentioned above, the Company
may also undertake other activities defined in Schedule VII of the Companies Act, 2013.
2. Activities carried out by the Company for FY 2023-24.
A) CSR Project – Construction of Primary School building at Adhe village.
The Company had spent towards construction of extension of New School building at Adhe village.
Additional funds of Rs. 11,98,601 /- were approved and paid towards electrical items and fittings in the
said School building
B) Contribution towards Educational facility for Rashtriya India Military College (RIMC),
Dehradun.
RIMC has accepted the challenge of turning a 100 year old all boys institution to a co-educational school
were girls will intrinsically become a part of the RIMC. To meet the challenge of an increased strength
and to create a better educational infrastructure and counseling the Company had contributed Rs.
12,00,000/-
C) Fund for scholarship policy/scheme under CSR for providing financial assistance to economically challenged-cum-meritorious students.
Financial assistance is given every year to economically challenged-cum-meritorious students so as to
facilitate such student(s) to complete their studies/ academies without financial hurdles and difficulties
and fulfill their desire to be equipped with education and develop their skills.
During the FY 2023-24, the beneficiaries under this policy/scheme were as under:
D) Donation of School Bus to Loksadhana - Lokmanya Public Charitable Trust
Donated one School Bus under the project “Project Vidyavahan-School Bus” to cater to the transportation
needs of rural students for “To and Fro” Loksadhana School. In the free time the Buses shall also be
deployed for conducting various community engagement projects, diagnostic health support and hosting
women empowerment training sessions. The value of this bus was Rs.18,64,424/-
E) Ongoing Project: - Plot Development works at Zilla Parishad Primary School at Adhe village -
Total approved Rs. 12,96,000/- Disbursed in 2023-2024 Rs. 1,00,000/-
